this is my first tattoo, these flowers are plumerias, it isn’t colored in yet, i’m following up with that.
My whole life, my great grandparents grew these flowers in their backyard, and when i was growing up, i’d pick these flowers and put them in a pretty glass bowl with water, and set it in their front room. When I was 9, my great grandfather, passed away from cancer, and the only thing that made my great grandma smile, were these beautiful flowers. So i’d continued to pick them, everytime i went and visited her. She passed away when i was 14, along with my grandpa on my dad’s side. Then I moved away, from California, and had nothing to remember them by, except for my memories. Then when i was 16, my best friend passed away. So once i turned 18, i started planning what i would do, to represent all of them.
So my tattoo represents the one’s i’ve loved and lost, and to remind me to never take anyone or anything for-granted, and to always remember where i came from.
